Layla at the WALA House

About

WagLayla is the first fork of Kaspa with three primary goals: community, scalability and longevity. The coin is driven by the mining and investment communities with the support of the WALA House founders. WagLayla is built on Rust, which improves the network scalability and security over Golang. Unlike other Kaspa forks, the WagLayla project ensures longevity thanks to there being a no pre-mine swindle or dev-fee tax. Because WagLayla is built on an algorithm called Walahash, ASICs most likely will not mine it and FPGAs won’t be able to mine it for a little while. WagLayla will give you peace of mind so setup your mining hardware and relax just like in the KAS & ETH days...

Pie chart showing tokenomics

Tokenomics

WagLayla (WALA) has a well-structured tokenomics model designed to ensure both the growth and sustainability of the blockchain network. The distribution of every block reward is 100% allocated to miners minus client and pool fees, incentivizing participation in network security and diversification.

WagLayla follows an emissions schedule very similar to Kaspa with an initial pre-deflationary block reward of 500 WALA for the first three months. Beginning in the fourth month, the block reward reduces progressively, starting at 456.26 WALA and decreasing monthly until reaching approximately 0.03 WALA by the 108th month. This emission model culminates in a total maximum supply of approximately 17.5 billion WALA.
